This bug has hit me quite hard in the last week, breaking a number of
automated ssh processes that have been working without a hitch prior to
sometime after Monday evening (8 December, UTC+8) this week. I can pin
it down to that because each Monday and Friday evening I use a scripted

After reading the patch, why patch upowerd to compensate for the idevice
client libraries not doing their full job in the first place? Of course,
upowerd should be able to handle memory handling exceptions regardless,

Well. I am plagued by a rather strange bug. For me it's always
reproducible but from the lack of bugreports here I guess it's something
rare.
The bug occurs in all X applications Gnom
This looks roughly like you've got both amd64 and i386 versions of this
library installed; they should be updated in lockstep should you wish to
keep them both.

Just read this whole thread and I too am unable to find a good
justification for why breaking this method of restarting networking was
needed, or the aggregate benefit of breaking many many legacy scripts.
Please resolve this!
