Hi quick update.
I've made progress with xdgkit bringing it to version 2.0.0, due to
breaking changes in the API. This brings the ability to search for an
icon based on its symbolic name, such as in a desktop file. The
algorithm seeks out the current user theme (KDE/GTK), defaulting to
"hicolor"

Yeah, sorry
Hi
I will try and update the manual at some point with the new information,
if we are removing GTK does this mean most of the apps are going to go,
i am guessing we are doing this in order to reduce space or resource usage.

Hey everyone,
We are going forward with the precise version. I will be rebuilding it
from the current state and then simply releasing it.
Then everyone can test it and if we find major bugs, we will indeed need
to fix them :)

Hi Israel,
I would be happy with dialog in the OBI for ToriOS 1.0. It is tested a
lot, and modified slowly from my original version, so I think we can
rely on it. Still, it needs testing, to be sure that the recent changes
have not borked anything.

Hi Nio,
We can release it without Zenity version if needed, all I need to do is
copy the non-zenity desktop icon to the desktop instead.
To use zenity I simply pass usezenity to starter and then it creates the
file $HOME/usezenity containing "true"

Hi Israel.
I will reply to your recent mails separately.
It seems that you are determined to release ToriOS with a zenity version
of the OBI-installer. Be prepared to do *a lot* of debugging before it
will be as reliable as the dialog version.
