whatever is decided by any and all, the non-pae kernel is available to
anyone and everyone. With the next build I will be adding it to the
dedicated ppa https://launchpad.net/~phillw/+archive/non-pae3.13 this means
that people can add that ppa and receive updates to the kernel as and when
ubun
linux kernel 3.13.0-18 non-pae is now available at
http://phillw.net/isos/non-pae/

The hybrid kernel (the 'live' one) can be used for either system. It is the
'standard' kernel with some added extras to make it usable on Live CD that
ubuntu (and others) use. The additions are classed as 'patches' and ubuntu
adds them by default.
The original kernel is more a 'server' kernel with

The reason for a slow down will be a DDoS attack, OVH do have throttling
measures in place and it was them who told me which VM was under attack.
