FWIW, I'm attaching yet another screenshot for a package that might be
helpful for us? just in case it is :)
Also, I typed "manager" only on Synaptic on Xubuntu 12.04.5 and found
many packages installed.
Xubuntu 12.04 is using "lightdm" and there are other 'managers' shown on
the list.
