The problem was rather small... you could update obi inside the LiveCD
and try it to make sure it works well for you.

Installed latest Daily in VB and had one initial observation:
1) There seems to be 2 nm-applet icons in the top panel (again)...both of them
indicated my eth0 wired connection.
