Then I upgrade my tor to 0.2.5.2 since the new settings are available in

changes to routing rules, covers security vulnerabilities, etc. - how
do all the ~6000 relays upgrade to the latest version automatically

The screenshot on this page shows that they've included the Orbot source
itself right into the app. +1 for open-source, -1 for sneaky malware
using .Onion C&C's.
