Six things I did in September/October 2013:
1) Released Tor 0.2.4.17-rc:
https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-talk/2013-September/029857.html
including writing the fix to prioritize NTor handshakes so Tor 0.2.4.x
remains usable despite the five million new bot users:

Could not find an answer. So far «tor unexpectedly exited».

Perhaps a typo - should that be 2014 or is IEEE S&P somewhat backlogged?

into it:

use longurl.org or someting similar to see where they go. It will
expand shortened links for you and give you the end result without
requiring javascript or complaining about tor.

Another vote for Whonix, if you're using virtual machines. That's
after all what it is designed for.
You can find more about it here https://www.whonix.org

Oh, I agree, but I'm not certain what their level of experience is,
and don't want to assume.

I have a question:
Tor Browser Bundle - Firefox ESR 17.0.9 (LATEST TOR)
Compared to: Iceweasel 17.0.9 (LATEST TAILS Linux distribution)
To be found in Tails (not found in TBB), some additional certificates:
DigiCert Inc -> DigiCert High Assurance EV CA-1
DigiCert Inc -> DigiCert High Assurance

Interested in learning more about Tortilla? I recently presented a webcast
in which I covered Tortilla's purpose and architecture, and showed some live
demos of Tortilla in use.
You can check out the video here:

If you have any questions about Tor
Thank you people. You are very profissional. I am just a beginner who wants to
throw away Windows, and use Linux with LibreOffice. I will test Whoix and
Tails, as well as Ubuntu.Long life for Tor!Marcos (Brasil)

I would recommend debian wheezy, if you are going for debian based operating
systems, since K/Ubuntu is considered to be a system with commercial interest
from canonical.
Search the internet for Amazon shopping lense in Ubuntu.
