On mac, i use little snitch to block unwanted talking to 3rd parties. With tor
installed as daemon and system-wide proxy set to it port, many apps ignore
Little Snitch rules :(
Is there anything to be done to fix it?

how can i block app ports or connections when using tor proxy?
what is equivalent of hosts file or iptables for it? for example mac should not
connect to configuration.apple.com
