w, the relay
after twenty hours of operation is tortusing along at 20 B/s.
Which to me is pure BS.
Can someone give me some idea’s as to what I am doing wrong?

I changed the name of my relay nick name from to (Correct
Name) after
I got it to operate correctly. The relay was in operation when I did
the change. I went
into the menu in NYX, clicked reset tor. The relay has been up
eighteen hours as of
this writing. Its flags are: Fast, Running, V
What actually controls the tor relay? TORRC or nyx?
I realize NYX is a 'monitor'. However nyx allows for
command line changes; i.e bandwidth/ports etc.

I set torrc bandwidth/Burst to 5 MBs/6MBs respectively
Then I get @7pm Local:
Received reload signal (hup). Reloading config and resetting internal
state.
Read configuration file "/usr/share/tor/tor-service-defaults-torrc".
Read configuration file "/etc/tor/torrc".
After the above happens
Switch from root to user = su usrname >Password. The problems start
when I try and su to debian-tor. First I get a query for a password which
it doesn't have. So I make a pass for debian-tor and enter it when I su to
debian-tor. I enter whoami and the response is: user and not debian-tor.
