Hi!
Good to hear that you guys try to solve the problem of slow measured relays.
For example when i measure my relay
40108FDFA40EDB013F7291F3B4DA3D412ED3A5EF
with the speedtest from tele2 i get about 90 MiB download and about 50 MiB
upload but Tor measures it with about 15 MiB.
Some of my relays
Actually, Server Room/Primcast will allow you to operate with an unrestricted
exit policy if you use their Data Center in Romania of if you want to use a
server in the NYC datacenter, you could use one of my IP ranges I have out
there.

Hello Tor users,
Help me with a problem please. I have a small exit/backup & directory VPS in
Finland [1]. This last week the server (and Tor) have been overwhelmed with
non-Tor IP addresses. This may be a small version of a DoS attack. I took the
server down for a few days but when I restar
You can install failtoban, have you a extern firewall ?

Hi William,
From an operating system diversity point of view it’s definitely a good idea to
have all sorts of OSs running relays, so it’s great that you’re trying this out
on Windows.
It would be really good if you can help us with a new set of instructions for
Windows once you get it to work
Hello Chris,
Thanks for updating the relay community. Could you give trac
another chance and update the wiki page?
thanks,
Gus

Yes, I have fail2ban installed but the attack is focused on my
ORPort 9001. Similarly, I have an external firewall but it
permits 9001 port passage.
Thanks for the thoughts, though, --potlatch

If you're trying to prevent too many connections, you can adjust the
DoS torrc options:

Maybe it was meant to be like that may be your server needed to be rebooted
