Hi Keifer,
You could install linux on the Mac and run the relay there - if you need a GUI
then Ubuntu or Elementary are good distributions to run. Ubuntu uses apt for
its package manager "under the hood" so once you're up and running installing
Tor would be as simple as issuing "apt-get install
How could I install Linux on a 2011 iMac? I know I could run a virtual machine,
but could I set Linux as the default OS to boot from? If I were to do this,
could I copy my relay fingerprint over?
Thanks.

At that point it might be worth installing Linux on the computer and
running a relay that way :)

Another update:
Conrad hired a contractor to replace a broken switch and fix the cabling so
the redundant switch would take over in the event of a failure again. An
SLA credit will be issued to affected customers.

Yes I would say so. Mentioning a few Tor nodes going offline is one thing, but
by now half of this list is covered in total b/s drivel such as

We wouldn’t have to make these threads if community members like Isaac
didn’t make threads about a lack of response from one team member.
We could:
A) Inform everyone
B) Inform a few customers and hope we don’t miss any
C) Ignore the problem and have more negative threads created about us.

Hi Matt,
That project is now in the works. Meanwhile will other community members
continue creating threads about our organization? It has to stop on both
ends otherwise we’re forced to respond when people create threads about us.

Ok. So I removed Mac OS and installed Linux, and after an entire day of
trying everything, Linux crashed when I tried to load it no matter what I
did. I am now going to try installing Windows 10 on it, is there a way to
run a relay on Windows 10? Thanks.

Hello,
So adding to the previous discussion, I was not able to run Debian Linux on my
machine, or the new Mac OS. What I ended up doing was formatting the hard drive
(erasing the OS and all), then did a fresh install of Debian Linux, which after
installing failed to load. However, what I then d
