I would also like to see the comments in jasper1 ported over to jasper2. Now if only I didn't need sleep, I'd do it myself and submit a patch. the code changed quite a bit between jasper1 and jasper2. the class responsible is in jasper/compiler/Generator in case you get the urge to port the comm
