Get the mod_jk stuff from TC3.3m3 - it will work with any 3.x version.
You will have better success if you build Apache from source as well.
See the mod_jk-howto.html for TC3.3m3 for instructions (questions at
the bottom of the page).

I'm still trying to keep up with both lists, although not
able to read everything.
I still plan to work on the docs some, as well as debugging,
but am in the process of building a new system to work
from - among other projects.

Sorry to have been out of action for so
Why not just handle each connection as if it is a connection
from a different server, logging in each time.
Are ajp13 requests serialized? ajp13 only connects to TC
once to the port set in the config, right?

I think this is something definitely needed and easier than
dealing with so many versions of mod_jk, etc. and since
they are all TC related, probably better than commons for
right now.

Dan,
I'll start working on this. It will probably take a couple of days
to find the time to work on it, if that's OK. If not let me know.

OK. I noticed the change but didn't look at the latest source to
see what was up.
Let me know if I can help with the user docs.
I've started to work on additions/new docs for 3.3 and the web server
connection instructions.
Thanks,

I say it sounds like a good idea, that way if you build according to the
mod_jk build scripts, they say to add the lines to httpd.conf. It would
also allow the use of apxs to do the install of mod_jk in the build scripts
automatically, also.

You may also want to check the archives for tomcat-users. There was a
recent post
from someone building mod_jk for AIX. I don't recall is there was a
solution posted.

You can also try some of the java web sites like http://www.jguru.com

Keith,
Did you build perl and apache from source?
I have seen weird problems with them installed as binaries. If I recall
correctly, apxs pulls some of the info it needs from the make files from
where apache or perl were built. If they were built on another system,
these files may not work cor
