Running Tomcat in chroot

Back in May, Pier Fumagalli posted here that he had gotten Tomcat running in a chroot jail. I'd appreciate the details of what is required to do this. I believe I have all the parts but when I try to start Tomcat I get an error in the bootstrap processing that seems to indicate it is having a
