How bout this netqmail thing at http://www.qmail.org/netqmail/. Can that
replace qmail?

I'm building a new toaster to replace an old toaster. New machine is on
Fedora Core. The biggest twist is that the old machine has different uid
for vopmail, vchkpw and I want them the same.
I get to the poing where its time to check qmail. qmail-send complains
