Hi there, I also think it is the tcpserver switch used. I had to set mine from - H (which will keep qmail-smtp from doing reverse lookup) to -h (which is the default and does allow for lookups). Mark that I also use a caching DNS server (tinydns), which is a good thing to have in this case
