Does it have something to do with the number of open threads? Can I set a ulimit for it? Or does it have something to do with memory? Why does clamav cause these issue? or at least, what can I do to narrow down what in clamav is causing the issue? I don't see errors, but the tests you gave

Unless its bouncing from an isp which doesnt do spf checks. I get notifications from .ua locations. I just use procmail and have it null'd Nevertheless. use SPF, and if you ALWAYS use your own smtp, you should set your policy to -all. So any well configured location will not just soft fail. Sa
