Sounds really logical to me to first check against existing users before
running greylisting. Is there anything in place to
accomplish this with a running toaster?!
I looked into qmail-smtpd.c but cannot find the info about greylisting...

I updated the patch to move the chkuser part above greylisting. Please
test it if you have time:

It is exactly the same as my personal modifications. It works just

Does anyone have cost effective hardware recommendations for a single
server qmail toaster in a production environment?
We have been having pretty good success with 2.8Ghz P4 servers with 1GB RAM
and 80GB IDE or SATA drives running CentOS 3.4. We were concerned about the
