DOH! I figured it out.
qmail-inject [EMAIL PROTECTED] < name_of_the_file worked nicely.
Hi everyone,
I have my toaster up and running great. I have it setup to put SPAM mail in a quarantine folder.
Is there a way to resend/requeue a msg that has been put in the quarantine folder?
Thanks
dan

I have noticed that mail over the users quota is not getting bounced back to the sender.
I have found this in the /var/log/qmail/current file:
@4000435946c00dbb5f8c starting delivery 375679: msg 67370 to local [EMAIL PROTECTED]@4000435946c00dbbadac status: local 1/10 remote 0/20@40
I found my problem. I didnt set the CatchAll:Bounce in qmailadmin.

I have installed the toaster version 0.8 on a RHEL 3 AS Server.
The problem I am having deals with chkuser. It is accepting mail for any recipient.
I telnet to port 25 and do this:

I am trying to get the quarantine directory working. I get this error when SPAM is found and the message does not get put in the quarantine directory.
from the /var/qmail/smtpd/current log file:
simscan:[25763]:SPAM REJECT::206.190.39.156:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED]simscan: check_spam

Howdy All-
I have a problem with the aliases for postmaster, root, and mailer-daemon.
I have followed the step that creates the aliases:
# Setup the primary administrator's email address.# This address will receive mail for root, postmaster, and mailer-daemon.# Replace "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
Has anyone used the Virus Stats tool (available at http://www.limelyte.net/software.php?p=virusstats) for simscan with Bill's toaster setup?
I was going to give it a whirl, but I didnt want to break the setup that I have running now.
Its would be nice to be able show the management a number on

I am trying to figure out something with the qmail-smtpd log file.
Right now when the /var/log/qmail/smtpd/current log file reaches 96K it rolls to a new current file and gives the old current file a name like '@400042669d580ae613c4.s'.
I am not sure where qmail is gettings this setting f
658500 tcpserver: status: 0/30
I noticed the line 'simscan: exit error code: 31'. I imagine that is a problem.
Mail that is SPAM gets put in the quarantine directory fine.
Thanks

I have version 0.7.9 of the toaster installed on a RedHat EL3AS server and things are working great. I even have simscan moving SPAM mail to a quarantine directory.
This is a great product.
I have one question: Is it possible to have simscan move virus infected mail to a quarantine directory
