201 according to /usr/bin/od. This works great in urxvt, xterm
or gnome-terminal; it also works perfectly in screen. However

Thanks Nicholas. Ubuntu Lucid has 1.1 and it installs cleanly on
Karmic and works well. This fixes the problem.
