would it be possible to apply that bell patch to mainstream?
With this the urgent hint in the window manager is set when a bell in a
tmux terminal occurs. The same thing which screen does.
This is really helpfull I think.

By a spooky coincidence I, too, discovered the bell bug today. I googled to
find the problem, found the previous discussion [1] and joined IRC to ask this
question, where I was helpfully advise to "compile your own from CVS". Whil
Dunno about 1.4. I was thinking soon, but tcunha (who usually does the
releases) is offline for a bit and I'm pretty busy. Plus a reasonably
big change went in and I don't really want to do a release until there
is time for CVS to get tested a bit.
