Yes they should work although IIRC there is a bug in iTerm2 where it
still shows dashed vertical lines.

I've sent environmental variable LANG.
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
And tmux now draws nice pane separators...

Terminal program is KDE Konsole. TERM env variable is set to "linux" on
all machines. Tmux configuration is identical on all machines.
