Moving between panes

hold down an arrow key after the ctrl-b, it will move between panes infinitely. Is there any way I can remove this time interval? Too frequently I move to some pane and then want hit the up arrow to go back in command history and I accidentally move up a pane. Dan

Is there a way to send a Reset in tmux? Sometimes (for example, when using serial consoles) the terminal gets screwed up and the only way to fix it is to reset it. This is +R in Terminal on the Mac. I think it's just C-a r in screen. thank
