Hmmm... actually an xterm not running tmux returns ^H for C-h, whereas
when tmux is running I get ^?. Screen also return ^H.

Because of numerous challenges getting Ctrl and Meta Arrows to work
with OS/X-X11 I opted to use h j k l and H J K L (with repeat) for
