make install fix for VPATH builds when MANFORMAT=man

2014-09-16 Thread Peter Schow
The following simple patch addresses a "make install" failure when MANFORMAT=man (default case on Solaris) during a VPATH build (source tree != build tree). Thanks, Peter --- ORIGINAL/Makefile.am2014-02-22 13:48:37.0 -0700 +++ tmux-1.9a/Makefile.am 2014-09-16 11:58:58.0548

Question about half-colored divider

2014-09-16 Thread Thomas Stüfe
Greetings, in tmux 1.9a, when I start a new window and split it horizontally or vertically once, the divider is only half colored. Switching panes switches the color (either upper or lower half is colored). My old tmux was 1.6 and did not show this behaviour. Is this intentional or a graphical b

It should work if you start it with "tmux new" not "tmux". On Tue, Sep 16, 2014 at 03:37:59PM +0200, Thomas St??fe wrote: >Yes you did. Sorry, just looked at the 1.9a sources, not your development >sources.** >Might probably make sense to roll this fix out, because right now tmux >

Yes you did. Sorry, just looked at the 1.9a sources, not your development sources. Might probably make sense to roll this fix out, because right now tmux 1.9a is unusable (it crashes on three of my linux machines). Kind Regards, Thomas Stüfe On Tue, Sep 16, 2014 at 2:56 PM, Nicholas Marriott <

Fix for buffer overwriter in cmd.c (cmd_pack_argv)

2014-09-16 Thread Thomas Stüfe
Hi all, I did run into a buffer overwriter which caused a crash when starting tmux on linux. I downloaded tmux 1.9a and installed it from the sources. tmux crashes (aborts) on my linux machine right after start in the libc with the following callstack: Program terminated with signal 6, Aborted.
