For large contributions you can look at the copyrights in the *.[ch]
files.
For small you'll need to look at who has been credited in the svn commit
messages.

on FreeBSD clock_gettime is in libc, so there's no need to link against
librt. Please consider this patch, that causes autoconf to bring in
librt only if needed.
