Good Morning, You may have missed part of what I have mentioned It works with jLog and KB (both linux based). Neither of these programs use the HAMLIB for radio control. I do have to use a script to set the com port for jLog. KB does it right! The author of KB wrote the script for me. With your

I have tried to get hamlib to work on my SuSE 10.3 box with my FT-1000. I have tried things as a root or the user. I do not get any difference. I am using a FTDI Chip USB to TTL cable. The cable and radio work fine with the logging software KB and jLog (jlog needs a special program). I believe the

Hi Folks, I have been playing around a bit more with with the FT-1000 under TLF.  I was given a patch for the hamlib. I added the patch and started over. CWDAEMON works HAMLIB works ( tested with rigctrl and xlog) TLF does not see the radio: here is the logcfg.dat that I have in my tlf/learn/
