Yes, it's definitely possibly your hardware breaks with the new kernel. I'm using virtualbox so life is easier for me. I would suggest running a yum update or compiling kernel 3.3rc6 next from source and see if that helps. kernel 3.3rc6 should be in the updates-testing repo soon either way. Dan
