Have noticed this for a few versions now, but the status bar doesn't
show what is going on besides if there is html coming through. In other
words, for example, 100 (made number up) emails on the server, go to
download them and the status bar doesn't show anything happening.

The status bar at the bottom doesn't seem to show when emails are being
delivered/checked or going out or anything. The only thing it seems to
do is show when an html email is being downloaded and retrieved.
