Had another Noveau freeze. Screen was frozen
and no response to the keyboard. Caps lock
ignored. Ctrl-Alt-F2 ignored. Upon hardware reset
and reboot, nothing to send to Bugzilla.
This is with an Nvidia 460 driving a Dell U3011.
Xfce with compositing and random screensavers
were active.

Last night Noveau wedged itself again. The screen was frozen with no
response to
keyboard or mouse. Linux was still running and responded to the power
switch with
a flurry of disk activity. After hardware reset and reboot I uploaded
the report to
Bugzilla.
Since a timely resolution of the N
System was still running. I was able to ssh into it from another machine.
Keyboard was dead; caps lock did not toggle the LED.
The display was frozen on a screensaver which got a sigsev.
