The loader quits when it can't find pyconfig64.h or pyconfig32.h. This happens on both 32 and 64 bit flavors on both AMD and Intel chips. Perhaps this would be a good time to move to the current (3.x) Python as long as things are broken. Hopefully Python will get a lint(1) style static checker
