Ok, if anyone else is running into this, there are clear instructions, even
though they're for F15, that work, with a sample
rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules file.

Aside from that, custom partitioning is fixed, and I got no errors on

Yeah, saw it on netinstall, 64 bit.

All irrelevant if you're just using username=user as opposed to
domain/username.
For what it's worth, 4.0.3 seems to have broken AD integration, but I also
seem to be the only one with the problem, so I suspect I'm missing
something.

Up to date F18 system mounts 4.1.1, using simple mtpfs (all done by command
line, no auto mounting) without issue.
Haven't upgraded to 4.1.2.

For what it's worth, I've probably done over a dozen installs from net.iso,
using the minimal install option, and it usually takes less than 10
minutes.
I haven't tried, however, to install it with any sort of X. It's just as
quick (for my situation) to get the basic thing
Also, if running a PAE kernel, one has to specify kernel-PAE-devel. (Which
doesn't seem relevant in your case).

I repeat, I realize this is OT, hence the OT in the subject line, but just
curious if it's one of the JustMe(TM) issues. Trying the bundle on Ubuntu
12.10, it works (and also downloads, again very slowly, the update to
5.0.1)
