lowing vlc package in
Fedora 16 alpha:
vlc.i686 0:1.1.11-1.fc16
The file played fine with no error message shown from VLC.
After doing yum update vlc to the latest package (the same as you reported):
vlc.i686 0:1.1.12-1.fc16
Can you contact whoever maintains the vlc package for Fe
our files and such? As Adam said, if you could
provide maybe some more details it might help for others to help you.

to log in twice), and I have heard it being talked about a few times in
irc. Hopefully the others can chime in with more detailed information.

Hi fellow Fedora users,
I wanted to write an introduction.
My name is Roy Six and I am 28 years old and live in the US.
Why I want to contribute:
I am looking to contribute because I want to interact with other Fedora
users. It gets lonely when most people I know are using
Windows/Mac/Ubuntu
