uess we need to switch to dnf in fed 22 ??
If you continue to use yum, even if by accident, it will default to
using dnf and continue to run.
But yes you need to start learning to use dnf as the yum command will
probably be gone/not recognized by F23 (I assume).

Why not to just the test/beta list where it would be used during
testing, meaning this list?
I have a filter that sends that email to my "info" folder so doesn't
bother me a
;s. Will it do it
at all, or just not when it's rebooted and automount it upon boot and
have to do it manually?

yeah, by reducing the amount of time the cores would spend idle.
Erin could be a guy :)
BTW, he/she came back later and said was a hardware (maybe HD don't
remember) issue due to had boot issues or something after sending the
emails and was gonna talk to the manufactorer. So wasn't Fedora

f that helps make
any different. If it does, then the next kernel build I think is
suppose to have debugging turned off and that might help. Then again,
might be something totally different.

So, is the kernel you tested with debugging off, one built from Fedora
or a custom one? Which version,
kernel-3.1.0-0.rc5.git0.0.fc16.x86_64.rpm?

(gueses it failed last day or 2).
Anyway, after the upgrade, the system was still slow (still running KDE)
as stated on previous email. So I downgraded/changed to the most recent
2.6.40 kernel in koji for F15 and that did fix lot of the slowness.
Also don't see X using up as much CPU n
o the terminal and can see X using over 50% CPU.
So seems X is using up resources in one way or another pretty much no
matter what I do.

y or may not be onto something in
one of the bugs in the previous reply to this subject just a bit ago.
Wonder if there is a way to upgrade just certain package(s) on an F15
system to see if have any of the same problems? Might help with the
root cause unless just have to be totally F16.

But if others aren't having any slowness issues, then maybe it's
something else that we all have the same issue with. Video (mine is
radeon hd 4350) or something?
