With F18 I cannot get X working on a 27" imac (2011). The machine has an
ATI Radeon HD 6900M series listed as VGA controller and a Intel device
(from Z68 Express chipset) listed as Display controller.
With F17 X just worked fine using the ATI but with F18 I cannot get X to
work. I tried blacklist

I've noticed that, as with previous versions of GNOME 3, bluetooth and
network on/off settings do not survive a reboot. If I disable bluetooth
by toggling the switch to off, next reboot it is on again. Is this
as-designed?

While installing the latest F16 kernel
(kernel-3.1.0-0.rc9.git0.0.fc16.x86_64)I got this grubby error:
grubby fatal error: unable to find a suitable template
grubby: doing this would leave no kernel entries. Not writing out new
config.
When I checked my /boot/grub2-efi/grub.cfg I found:

After updating F16 Beta with the latest updates it seems
PackegeKit-command-not-found no longer works? I just get "command not
found" for commands which normally lead to "Install package 'xxx' ..."

I test F16 on a Macmini and boot Fedora using rEFIt. I've noticed that
all grub EFI variants are displayed with the unknown logo. That's
ugly ;-) So I created an updated rEFIt which recognizes the various
grub.efi/BOOTX64.efi etc variants and displays a nice logo for it...

I finally noticed/figured out that, while I managed to get grub2
installed and running on my 2011 macmini, the system still booted into
'legacy mode'. There were no efivars and the disk I/F was in IDE mode
instead of AHCI.
Checking the F16 repos and koji I could not find the grub2-efi RPM. I

I've been seeing gnome dep problems for the last few days (through alpha
rc's and now alpha).
I managed to get a lot of updates installed by selectively install
updates. When I try to workaround the remaining dep problems yum
I've seen this with all alpha RC's and now with F16 alpha. At first
bootup a selinux targeted policy label is required. Is this as designed?

If I see a grub.conf file on my EFI partition under /EFI/redhat/, does
it mean anaconda installed grub instead of grub2?
(the other files there are device.map and grub.efi, the syntax of
grub.conf looks like normal grub 1 syntax instead of the grub2 syntax I

As a follow up on my previous mail. In an attempt to get F16 booting
with the legacy boot method I found out that we run out of partitions
with the MBR scheme. OS X Lion already uses 3 partitions for itself
(EFI, OSX, recovery) and anaconda want to add another 3 (bios

My observations trying to get F16 alpha RC3 running so far are:
Used DVD image and booted Anaconda through EFI. Grub came up fine, after
booting I get a garbled screen with ends with readable kernel messages
and anaconda starting with a text screen (Disc Found/media test). After
