Hi Frank. Can you set the keyboard after you login with 'setxkbmap gb' (or whatever is the proper code)? Because IIRC when testing the live-cd I couldn't set it from the Xfce GUI either and had to use setxkbmap. BTW, I think that user-dirs.locale is just for the names of the folders in your ho
