I grabbed Fedora-16-Beta-i686-Live-Desktot, burned it, and booted it. The live desktop comes up, I can start Terminal, and I can start Firefox. But when I try to start Install to hard drive, I see the spinning cursor for about 12 seconds and then nothing. How do I start Install from the command li

The comment in /boot/grub2/grub.cfg says it was generated by grub2-mkconfig, but if you run grub2-mkconfig, you get a file radically different than the one just created by (for instance) installing a new kernel. Could the comment perhaps be made a little more explicit? Give the full command line p

Hi, I have F16 running on a ThinkPad X220 and therefore a EFI setup with both grub and grub2 installed. Today yum wants to update (among others) the kernel and grub as well as grub2. But a conflict is reported stating: 1:grub-0.97-79.fc16.x86_64 has installed conflicts grub2: 1:grub2-1.99-6.fc16.
