Ok, I'm really hoping this is the last one before beta ...
After finding issues with EFI yesterday, we have new builds of anaconda
and grub that are being pulled into beta.
Unfortunately, this means that we need more testing and we need it

Hey, folks. So, everyone clear their schedules for the next 18 hours!
We have, we think, fixed up all the EFI installation issues. At the
go/no-go meeting today, all groups agreed to delay the go/no-go decision
till tomorrow evening (Eastern time) to give a chance at getting RC4
built and validate

Just for grins I installed a script in rc.local to furiously
run ps f -e in a loop until it sees a gnome-terminal process
in the list and record the results in a log file.
I got about 40 MB of ps listings (which is a lot to look at :-),
but the most interesting bit I did see was this:

Updated F16 today and a new kernel was installed; however, the new
grub.cfg entry appears to have copied the kernel cmd line from the
previous grub.cfg entry and not from /etc/default/grub GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=

I found an odd behaviour with askmethod. I found this in Beta RC3.
When installing from a local http repo I normally give a repo= parameter
on the boot commandline. In anaconda still in text mode I am presented
with a UI to configure networking.
When I pass askmethod to the commandline and af

Hi all,
I've written unit files for deluge to be used with systemd. There are
two unit files:
deluged.service[1]: for the deluged daemon
deluge-web.service[2]: for the web ui
As far as I know,
- they need to be copied to /lib/systemd/system
- systemctl daemon-reload
- systemctl start deluged.s
I was able to do a fresh install of 64 bit F16 from a
mirror on my local network. I've tried the same thing
a number of times previously, but this time it worked!
It is really nice to install from a 1 gbps local network
instead of slow DVD.
The previous problem with mounting NFS shares was the

For a short time, I have problems to select the session type
(gnome,xfce,...) on the gdm login screen: It's not possible if selecting
the account by the users icon. Only if pressing "not listed" and then
entering the account name, I can select the session type.
Anybody sees this too?
Kind regards
