since we're talking about grub2, at the end of f16 rc5 i586 dvd install, it
tried for about an hour to do something with an non-existent fd0, then
failed to install onto the partition's boot sector. unfortunately, this
meant the newly installed system is not booting without further actions.

F16 Alpha RC5 installed, with KDE desktop and
evolution-3.1.5-1.fc16.x86_64 and noticed couple different things.
1 - When clicking on the menus up top, such as File, Edit, etc.., the
color of the menu itself is extremely white (or bright) color that you
