I have a bug report (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=710288)
that claims that manaworld 0.0.29 used $RPM_OPT_FLAGS, but that the
recent 0.5.2 didn't. Unless there is something subtle it looks like the
0.5.2 is using $RPM_OPT_FLAGS.
One notable difference that I think might have bearing

Your network issues with KDE are probably due to the change in
the Network Manager API, which caused all sorts of fuss.

Does anybody know what is a replacement for
gnome-default-applications-properties, or how the setup of xdg-open
should work under gnome shell?

xdg is looking for gnome-default-applications-properties binary, which

Between that and getting F15 to properly configure the two
Ethernet interfaces kept me up all night. Hate to admit it,

Whether its directly in menu, popup or alternating pink flashing
lights .. :-)
The gnome and kde search tools alreadys search for executable names,

Hey folks,

similar application names we use around Fedora desktops.
For example: surely sometimes you had both GNOME and XFCE installed and went
for menus to open - say a terminal. The environment would use the same i
