I'm seen the same behaviour...
Lawrence, are you running a 64 bit Fedora? Is it a fresh install or an
upgrade?
In my case, I'm running Fedora 13 64 bit, and I have been upgrading since
version 11. This behaviour only started after upgrading to Fedora 13.
I haven't had time to troubleshoot, but if

Every time I reboot the system, I have to manually connect the Ethernet

Is the Netowork Manager connection disabled? When you right click on it, is
the checkbox corresponding to "Enable Networking" unchecked and every time
you have to check it to enable the network? Does it connect after that?

Since everyone else is chiming in... I have never done anything other

On a server? Sometimes. On a desktop or notebook? Nope, never. I
only have one desktop on my desk, so how would I connect to VNC?

I don't. It would require you to have two computers and a working
network. Yes, I have an N900 now that I could use, but I'm not always
guaranteed a wireless network.
Also, if you have a brand new system, the network driver may not be

Hi!
My problem occurs on Dell Latitude D400 notebook
with 2.6.34 kernel I can press "Power/Sleep" button and goes down OK.
with 2.6.35rc2 kernel nothing visible happens.
Where can I look (which logs?) to debug this issue or what should I attach to
bug report?
Thanks,
MZ
