Hi,
I am new to the Video on Linux area. Is there an FAQ for this field?
My plans on Linux is to add the capability to view video(VCR) and TV/cable.
Is there a recommended Video card that I should invest in? What are the video
cards that I need to avoid? My current kernel is 2.2.16.

I've had good experinces with a generic bttv card...
(don't remeber which one it was.. I just opened the box and looked at the
chip before I baught it :) )

Anyone know a good place for inexpensive single-space rack mount servers?
I'd go with VALinux but the budget says hell no. Besides, I'm gonna install
OpenBSD on her to save some money. Make one yourself, you say. Gimme more
