also put it in your .profile or .bashrc. Works for me :o) I had to do it
on my university's server 'cause it doesn't like termtype 'linux'.

How do I make the port extender work in Linux? I am running Linux on IBM
Thinkpad I 1400 series.
Any clues? I have just started off setting up Linux on laptop. Moreover any
