Title: VGA/PGA video and monitor?
I've finally obtained all of the pieces I
need to build my new system. Hooray!
One anomaly did come up while shopping for
a new video cable. (The old one is flaky.)
There were no video cables with a standard
VGA adapter on one end (for the video card)
and
I have a nice little TurboLinux 4.0 CD, so I'm attempting to put it on
my machine. I'm using a floppy with the boot image and the extra
hardware floppy, as my machine refuses to boot from CD-ROM.

If the install manages to get to the point where you select the type of
system and the packages you want, a nice little error comes up. Error

I am running GIMP/Win on a Windows 2000 box. Runs great. The only problem I
have found is that if I try to manipulate more than one graphic, whether
concurrently or not, in the same session, that I get memory errors. Do not
know if it is not interacting with Windows memory manager properly,
