Thanx so much for speedy responses! Progress so far as follows: after editing /etc/conf.modules, chmod lp0 and changing a dip - switch setting on the printer to insert a carriage return after line feed, printing is almost perfect. The only task remaining is to make the thing spit out the paper whe
