hi everybody,   i tried to reach the internet through wvdial. (linux suse 7.0) it worked fine first, the modem was found, the connection established. but suddenly it broke up with the error message : pppd daemon has died: pppd options code: exit code = 2    in /var/log/messages stands:

Hey X, My suggestion would be to start by turning on the debug command for ppp. It will log you ppp connection to the kernel messages (usu. /var/log/messages) and try to recreate being disconnected. If that gives you nothing to go on then it's probably your isp that disconnects you after a certa
