I installed the Adobe Acrobat reader on RH 6.2. It doesn't seem to want to run under anything other than root. I set it up under /user/local. Adobe then puts the program under /user/local/Acrobat4/bin/acroread. I set up the symbolic link to /usr/bin/acroread they suggested. The permissions were 75
