servers. From that I picked out ProFTPd and it has
been doing a wonderful job ever since.

My second time trying this, sometimes yahoo doesn't
like my mail lists or the mail lists do not like
yahoo. :)
Thank you all for the help with the FTP server. I
went with proftpd and after a strange quirk with KDE,
it is up and running locally. I did have trouble
after putting it into the DMZ,

I've been assigned the task of setting up an FTP
server at work. I am very new to Linux and have
currently loaded Mandrake 7.2 because I am familiar
with it.
I d/l OFTPD, but it appears to only be a server to do
downloads from and I need something that can act as a
file transfer point for users
