Hi Michelle, As you are aware every Ethernet device has a unique address (MAC address)* than is globally unique. It is easy to find this address in packets on an Ethernet, however, if the packets are routed at all, then that address is striped out and replaced by the adapter address of the router

Hi, I'm running Mandrake 7.0 with GNOME and KDE and Afterstep installed, and I'm wondering how you change between desktop managers. I've currently got AfterStep, but I'd like to switch to using KDE (or maybe GNOME...) Can anyone help? Thanks, Alex. **

Hi, I'm also having problems with IPChains... What's this Mason of which you speak? I've been using pmfirewall (http://www.pointman.org) with some success, but I'm having trouble connecting to www.hushmail.com and www.smile.co.uk (both secure systems... might have something to do with it). I'd re
