Well, I more or less had a small problem when I tried deleting my
partitions of Linux RH7, and DOS pirmary and extended . I deleted them
using Linux fdisk (using the installation CD) and then run the windows fdisk to delete
the DOS
partitions.
But at this point it told me that it could not delete

either cfdisk or fdisk will work just fine. she can even use the linux
version to delete the existing partitions and create one big FAT32
partition, no need to revert to windows fdisk for that.

Ok, my friend installed Red Hat 6.2 and has decided she hates
linux. Oh well. Lets not lecture her on Linux vs. Windows.
What is the easiest way for her to delete her linux partition
and create a FAT32 one so she can reinstall Windows? cfdisk?
fdisk?

Some of the older JetDirects do not support LPR. If you can't upgrade it,
oh well. :)

I was very happy with my experiences with penguin computing
(penguincomputing.com)...and preloaded with red hat, means you don't have to
choose between Micro$oft Crap #1 and Micro$oft Crap #2. You don't buy
components, but choose them and they build it and ship it.

Hi, Mary,
Yes, but...
The reason most stores do this is because the markup on PC hardware is so
close to nil that in order for them to make any kind of a profit they
basically have to charge you more for the parts and pieces than a whole
system. The system we got for my Mom just over a year ag
Hi Mary
Try Tiger Direct at tigerdirect.com
last time I checked they were still doing that. If you feel a
bit more adventurous you could use motherboard express, pricescan or pricewatch
and shop for all the parts separately. I have done this with no problems
and saved a bundle.
All the best,

Once upon a time, in a long forgotten land, I went to
a computer store online and they had a build-your-own
feature. I.e.; a checklist of what kind of case do you
want, processor, RAM, any sound cards or NICs, blah, blah,
blah, and it spat out the price of your new tower.

Why are you using inetd for qmail? I know Dan recommends using tcpserver
now, which is why pretty much all of the information out there deals with
it. Inetd has performace issues, if I remember correctly, especially when
dealing with high-volume servers. TCPserver, imho, is also pretty easy to
